Hi again!
I realized I’ve been sharing all these writing opps when some people may have not learned how to pitch yet! Here are my best tips:
Keep it around 250 words or less
Aim for ideas that are interesting but also searchable / SEO-friendly
Read the site to make sure it's the best fit for your idea
Make sure the idea isn't already on the website
Start with a brief introduction to who you are as a writer
Write a suggested headline in bold
Share details such as sources you'll speak to, why you're the best fit to write the article, why it's relevant now, any research/stats with hyperlinks, what kind of content you'll include/ask sources about, and an expected word count
Check-in with the editor after a week
Good luck!
And real quick, wanted to share this post from a friend + encourage y’all to donate/share if you can!
